MEMORIAL DAY 2026: Honoring the Sacrifice – Remembering My Uncles Fred & Page Walley

We all pause during this traditional “beginning of summer” to remember and honor those who gave their “last full measure of devotion” as a sacrifice for our freedom. My Dad was one of four brothers who fought in WW2. Two were killed in action in 1944. Fred Walley and Page Walley (whose name I proudly bear). He left a widow pregnant with their first child. Let us never forget the blood shed for us and commit to a spirit of gratitude and paying forward our debt to them.
